When a customer comes to Fisher Tool & Design, they can expect
the kind of service they should receive, only the best. Each one
of our employees knows the importance of a totally satisfied customer.
All employees of Fisher Tool & Design treat every customer with
a friendly and utmost respect.
Fisher Tool and Design’s core service is designing and building
custom plastic injection molds and aluminum die cast molds. The
first step of each project is to determine the customer’s
needs and expectations. A preliminary design is developed from the
customer’s prints, cad models, and specifications, and submitted
for customer’s approval to continue with final design. Once
design is finished, manufacturing begins.
The toolmakers are given a job folder containing prints, customer
specs, time allotment, print logs, engineering changes log, and
other specifications.
Also included in the job folder are design and final inspection
sheets that must be filled out and signed before any job is released
for delivery.
We, at Fisher Tool & Design, keep our customers up-to-date
with weekly progress reports. The customer is always welcomed to
check on the status of their project at any time during the manufacturing
process. Thru our current use of technologies and our ISO 9002 standards
we strive to meet and exceed our customer’s standards and
expectations.
Although founded as a custom mold builder, Fisher Tool & Design
quickly expanded to include a wide range of services. They range
from design, molds, repairs, engineering changes, proto-typing,
custom machines, grinding, EDM, piecework, and many other tasks.
After moving to our new building in 1998, we were able to buy larger
equipment. These purchases, a boring mill, rotary grinder, surface
grinder, and EDM machines allowed us to offer still more services.
Some of our customers are custom mold builders just as we are.
Instead of passing up an opportunity of being awarded a job because
they may not have a piece of equipment big enough, or may need help
to meet a tight deadline, many times they sub-contract it to us.
They feel secure in doing so because Fisher Tool & Design has
a confidential and highly respected business ethic.
We also have a highly regarded reputation for our CNC Lathe work.
With three Okuma CNC Lathes and toolmakers with many years experience,
we can quickly turn out our customer’s projects with the highest
level of quality.
Some of our customers have CNC Lathes, but still send us their jobs
because of the quality and turn-around time.
So whether the job we do for you is a mold built from start to
finish, sub-contracted labor, piecework, or repairs, it will be
done with quality craftsmanship and quality assurance.
